Stores manager required for the overall management of the company's warehouse/store and goods storage.
The successful person will be required to:
- manage staff
- manage storage, distribution and security
- oversee receipt and safety of goods coming in
- ensure orders arriving are correct and are dispatched on time to the right destinations
- implement systems to manage and account for stock
- ensure the safe storage of stock
- ensure the health and safety of the environment
- carry out stores cleaning and inspections
- monitor stock levels and rotations
- produce accurate daily reports of work done including stock movement, returns, sales etc.
- manage the warehouse staff and recruit for the stores
Required:
- grade 12
- Dyna Supervisory Certificate
- a relevant degree in distribution or logistics
- MS Office - Minimum intermediate level
- at least four years' experience in a warehouse/stores management role
- SAP Business One knowledge
