We are searching for a graphic designer adept at visually narrating our client's brand journey and marketing strategies through captivating creative assets that resonate with audiences and drive campaign success.
Key responsibilities:
Generate a diverse array of design outputs tailored to different clients and platforms, maintaining high-quality standards.
Engage in video calls with international clients to discuss creative concepts and receive feedback.
Use industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to bring designs to life.
Uphold brand coherence across all visual elements.
Curate and integrate premium stock photos and illustrations when necessary.
Prepare design mockups and presentations to convey ideas to clients effectively.
Revise designs based on feedback and iterate until final approval is achieved.
Keep abreast of design trends and best practices, infusing fresh perspectives into projects.
Interpret client briefs and collaborate with team members to create compelling visual concepts.
Maintain close collaboration with the marketing managers to ensure design alignment with digital strategies.
Skills
Possession of a relevant Diploma/Degree in a related field.
Minimum of two years of experience in graphic design or a similar capacity.
Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design skills and experience.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with familiarity with Canva and MailChimp.
Excellent understanding of design principles encompassing composition, layout, typography, and colour theory.
Supplementary skills in digital design (UI/UX), branding, print design, and video editing are beneficial.
Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
Excellent communication with an aptitude for collaboration.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for visual design.
Comfortable navigating technology and able to quickly learn new applications and software.
South African citizen or holds Permanent Residency.
