March 25, 2002 marks the publication of Radio Active's new standard published rates for all individual SABC radio stations with effect from 01 May, 2002 through HAL and Telmar. The hardcopy rates files will be available week commencing 8 April 2002. The aggregated overall increase is no more than 6%, less than the projected CPI for 2002 and the rates clearly consider SABC audiences, brand value, national demand, competitor offerings, and sell-outs.
