    PBS group exec leaves SABC

    Lulama Mokhobo, group executive: public broadcasting services (PBS) at the SABC, has resigned. The national broadcaster announced that her departure comes into effect today, Wednesday, 30 June 2010.

    Said Mokhobo, who headed all the PBS radio and television channels within this portfolio, "I have spent an incredible five years at the SABC, during which time I met and worked with some of the best brains in the broadcasting industry.

    "I wish all those individuals, the group CEO, Solly Mokoetle and the organisation at large every bit of success as they continue the mammoth task of turning this critical institution into the highly respected and successful entity it should be."

    In a press statement, the SABC thanked Mokhobo for her service to the organisation and to the country and wished her well in her future endevours.
