Have you got the guts to tackle GBV with social media campaigns?
A multi-award winning GBV NPO is looking for an in-office, experienced social media manager.
Essential duties:- Develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers.
- Curate and manage all published content (images, video and written).
- Monitor, listen and respond to users in an empathetic way while encouraging real-time contact.
- Compile reports for management showing results and impact.
- Become an advocate for the company in the social media space, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
- Demonstrate an ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
Required:- Must have a clear understanding of the rape and abuse crisis in South Africa.
- 3-5 years experience is essential.
- Based in Sandton Central.
- Strict working hours of 8-5 plus every second Saturday.
- Exhibit and ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to an analytical side.
- Able to demonstrate why ideas are analytically sound.
- Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Linked in etc).
- Excellent writing, typing and language skills.
