Our client is on the lookout for a skilled tractor technician to join their thriving business.
 
Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of tractors to ensure optimal performance in the field.
• Utilize your diagnostic skills to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring quick and efficient resolutions.
• Conduct thorough inspections on tractors to assess and address potential problems before they escalate.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairs, keeping track of service history and parts inventory.
• Work closely with other technicians and agricultural professionals to share knowledge and enhance overall equipment performance.
• Provide training and support to tractor operators, imparting essential knowledge on proper usage and routine checks.
• Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements and skills:

• Proven experience as a tractor technician or in a similar role within the agricultural sector.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and rectify issues efficiently.
• In-depth knowledge of tractor systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.
• Relevant certifications or training in tractor maintenance and repair.
• Genuine interest in and understanding of agricultural practices and machinery.
• Clear communication skills to interact effectively with team members and operators.
• Ability to adapt to different challenges and work environments within the agricultural sector.
