New 14-segment LSM model to be explained

Gordon Muller, an independent media consultant, will explain the new 14-segment LSM model at an AMASA meeting in Cape Town, on Wednesday, 4 March.

The 10 LSM market segmentation tool is a trend of the past, disconnected from the reality in the South African marketplace. At the second AMASA Cape Town meeting for the year, Gordon Muller will offer insights into a cluster model that will make LSMs more usable as a sensitive and strategic marketing and media-planning tool.

The meeting will take place at The Grill Room, Mount Nelson Hotel, on Wednesday, 4 March at 4pm.

Admission for members is free, while the charge for non-members will be R50 and for students R25.

AMASA is a non-profit organisation that has as its main aim: “The education of people with an interest in the media, marketing and advertising industry, with a view to improving knowledge and skill in media decision making techniques and their use.”
