An established dealership in Newcastle, KZN is looking for a qualified and experienced workshop foreman.

Requirements:

• Must have qualified as a diesel technician (non-negotiable)
• Five + years experience as a diesel technician
• Some experience as a workshop foreman is advantageous.
• Must come have truck dealership experience (non-negotiable) not passenger vehicles/mining/earth-moving
• Own basic toolbox, special tools will be provided
• Own vehicle
• Excellent leadership abilities

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily workflow in the commercial vehicle workshop
• Manage breakdown status and progress
• Compile technical reports, quotations and feedback to management
• Liaise with suppliers regarding outwork status
• Enforce discipline and general housekeeping of the workshop
• Be hands-on and also work on commercial vehicles where needed

Salary: Negotiable basic salary (depending on experience)
