Our client is looking for: A dynamic restaurant and front-of-house manager to oversee daily operations, lead the front-of-house team, and uphold the highest standards of guest service.

Location: George, Western Cape.

Key responsibilities:

• Leadership and management: Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
• Guest experience: Ensure exceptional service and a memorable dining experience for every guest. Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
• Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Communication: Collaborate with kitchen staff, vendors, and management to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
• Event coordination: Plan and manage special events, private parties, and reservations, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
• Financial oversight: Assist with budgeting, cost control, and revenue management to achieve financial goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a restaurant manager or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on creating outstanding guest experiences.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele and team.
• Own transport and a valid driver’s license.
