An established dealership is looking for: A qualified and experienced workshop foreman.

Requirements:

• Must have qualified as a diesel technician (non-negotiable).
• At least five years' experience as a diesel technician.
• Some experience as a workshop foreman is advantageous.
• Must have truck dealership experience (non-negotiable; not passenger vehicles/mining/earth-moving).
• Own, basic toolbox; special tools will be provided.
• Own vehicle.
• Excellent leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily workflow in the commercial vehicle workshop.
• Manage breakdown status and progress.
• Compile technical reports, quotations, and feedback to management.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding outwork status.
• Enforce discipline and general housekeeping of the workshop.
• Be hands-on and work on commercial vehicles where needed.

Salary: Negotiable basic salary (depending on experience).
