Responsibilities:

In terms of how we operate, we are an agile agency and tend to structure our projects into dedicated scrum teams made up of developers (as many as needed based on technical build and requirements), 1 x dedicated UX/UI designer, 1 x dedicated project manager who is responsible for client management, removing blockers from the team, ensuring backlog and tasks are scheduled into the team correctly and 1 x QA engineer. 

From the assigned developers, we would typically assign someone into the lead back-end and/or lead front-end developer role to assist with ensuring correct technical process, code reviews, and documentation however we'd expect devs to be capable of documenting their final work outputs where relevant.

ClickUp is our agency and project management tool. We create detailed project backlogs with detailed technical specs, QA acceptance criteria/testing instructions, and detailed Gantt project plans and everyone is expected to log their time and collaborate within the ClickUp project space. All documentation is done within ClickUp docs and Development Wiki's are there to guide developers as to process, git and deployment protocols etc.

Sprints are either two weekly or monthly sprints depending on the nature of the project and its deadlines and deployments are typically done each fortnight.

Sprint Reviews/Retro's are run by the project manager and documented following each Sprint and Sprint Velocity is determined based on time estimated vs time actual logged.

Our heads of development (client success, creative, development, technology) oversee all projects and scrum teams and our heads of technology and head of development also act as solutions experts for key/complex technical resolutions or integrations.

Skills and requirements:

• Minimum of three years/+ of experience in full-stack web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Rock solid HTML + CSS / SASS / LESS, proven JavaScript experience, and Tailwind CSS knowledge.
• Experience with Shopify's platform and Liquid programming language, having worked with at least two Shopify projects would be needed as a Shopify developer. 
• Strong understanding of when to use Liquid's native server-side rendering and when to use JavaScript code for client-side rendering.
• Web animations (CSS transitions, SVG animation, GSAP and/or AnimeJS a plus!)
• Experience in responsive and adaptive design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• English fluency, written and spoken to a high level
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus.
• Familiarity with Matrixify and/or data migration/transfer tools around re-platform projects.
• Familiarity with Vue 3 Composition API.
• Familiarity with Nuxt 3 and/or Next.js.
• Experience with Storyblok.
• Familiarity with Figma i.e front-end design reviews
• Experience with third-party Apps, installing, configuring and integrating them
• Ability to work with various APIs to fetch receive/post data.
• Familiarity with Git as a version control tool.
• Agency experience and e-commerce knowledge are beneficial.
