Assistant Junior Accountant

• Assist Accounts Manager with day-to-day financial tasks, which would include suppliers / customers / cashbooks / reconciling of general ledgers, posting of necessary entries, assisting in ensuring control accounts balance
• Assist with accurate and timely closure of various month-end tasks
• Support in preparation of various reports
• Any duties as requested on a ad hoc basis relating to finance

• Relevant qualification in accounting or finance is required
• Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role.

• 2-3 years of work experience in accounting or a related field
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
