Listener loyalty programme for Cape radio station

Loyal 94.5 Kfm listeners are being rewarded for interacting with the station by its new KlubVIP loyalty programme. “We are doing this on the back of the success of our sister station 94.7 Highveld Stereo's Club VIP programme, launched at the beginning of last year,” said 94.5 Kfm station manager, Colleen Louw.

She adds, “KlubVIP is our way of thanking our thousands of loyal listeners for their support and rewarding them by offering them the chance to get their hands on unique merchandise and experiences.”

KlubVIP gives listeners the opportunity to earn VIP points that are then ‘burnt' in exchange for VIP items and experiences. The initiative is driven by 94.5 Kfm presenters who will announce keywords at different times throughout the day's programming. Listeners are then instructed to SMS these keywords to the KlubVIP SMS line (33Kfm) or enter online at www.kfm.co.za (which has now been adapted for cellphone use).

Rewarded

They are then rewarded with KlubVIP points for each correct entry received within the allocated timeframe. Other ways to earn points will be introduced soon. These include bonus codes, where listeners will be rewarded for going the extra mile.

Listeners need to accumulate points to be able to ‘burn' them in the virtual KlubVIP shop and different levels of points can ‘buy' different VIP opportunities and items. These include autographed merchandise by top local and international artists, the chance to meet celebrities, tickets to shows and events, outings with 94.5 Kfm presenters and more. Members must visit the website to see what is on offer to purchase.

“KlubVIP gives us the opportunity to develop an even greater understanding of 94.5 Kfm's listeners' wants and needs. Together with the recently launched Ground Patrol and K-Day, which promises to be the Cape's most exciting live music event, KlubVIP will ensure that 94.5 Kfm continues to consolidate its position as the Cape's No. 1 Hit Music Station,” says Louw.

Membership of the club is free.
