M-Net closes temporary ‘load-shedding channel'
M-Net Extra, the temporary channel introduced by M-Net as a solution to load-shedding problems, will not be available on DStv any more from the end of this month. Since March this year, this channel has given DStv subscribers the weekly opportunity to catch up on M-Net shows of the past seven days every Saturday and Sunday, but with Eskom announcing that there will be no planned power outages in the foreseeable future, these repeats are no longer necessary.
