Popular broadcaster Mike Wills has been appointed as CapeTalk's morning show presenter. Wills has been hosting the 6am - 9am weekday morning show since Nigel Pierce left the station two months ago.
Station Manager Colleen Louw said Wills was the obvious choice to host the vital drive-time morning show.
"The morning show is the most listened to show on the station and Mike is one of the most popular and respected presenters in the country. It was therefore an easy appointment.
"Mike is not only extremely capable but his experience adds volumes to our mission to remain Cape Town's number one news and information station," Louw said.
Wills has a long history in broadcasting and launched 567mw CapeTalk as Station Manager seven years ago.
Commenting on his appointment, Wills said: " I am absolutely delighted to take up the challenge. CapeTalk has a huge role to play in the lives of people of Cape Town and I hope to make the morning for all those listeners an informative, entertaining and enjoyable experience."
