STEPS Charity requires pro bono PR and publicity plan
STEPS needs a creative PR plan and awareness campaign with maximum impact using our high profile board members and ambassadors. STEPS work provides better quality of life for many SA kids and we want to generate exposure for our valued supporters and attract new ones.
STEPS Charity is a registered NPO established in July 2005. STEPS, in collaboration with medical professionals, provides information and support for families with babies and children with clubfoot and other lower limb disorders.

STEPS is the vision of Karen Moss, writer and mother of Alex who was born with clubfoot and successfully treated without surgery. Karen was nominated for SA Woman of the Year 2007 (Health) for her work to change clubfoot treatment in South Africa to a less-invasive and more successful method.
STEPS creates and implements strategies and programmes to improve information and training on lower limb disorders in babies and children. We advocate the non-invasive Ponseti Method of treatment for clubfoot. We hold an annual seminar to train medical professionals. We provide ongoing support and information to parents and children.
STEPS is affiliated to STEPS Charity Worldwide (UK), endorsed by Dr Ignacio Ponseti (USA), NIH, NHLS, Johannesburg Hospital and Wits Medical School.
