Poetry show on twice a week on Cape TV. Station is broadcast on between SABC3 and ETV on the UHF band.
Poetry scene in Cape Town is huge. This specific show is currently filmed at "A touch of madness" in observatory. Next year it is set to include Zula Lounge Live Poetry reading and Lyrical Poets at the Artscape.
The first half of the program which is a full hour long consist of a published famous poet like Antjie Krog reading poetry and the second half consist of open mic sessions with various poets reading their own works.
Diversity of cultures represented. Something for everyone.
We are looking for sponsors to help us keep the initiative going. For the sponsor there is a 30 second ad and two bumpers to advertise the sponsor's company/business.
