What has been revealed so far is that DJ (Kagiso) Milkshake will be stepping into the Friday night 10pm-1am slot, replacing DJ Fikile 'Fix' Moeti, who is leaving the station at the end of July to pursue a scholarship opportunity in Chicago.
"Another opportunity in the United States has now come my way and I'm running with it. I'm 23 and privileged to say I've worked for South Africa's leading national radio station and - who knows - I may be back one day," commented Moeti.
Replacing her on Tuesdays for 5FM Power Nite of Pop, 10pm - midnight, will be Bongi Mbelu, in addition to her Sunday New Music show, 5pm-7pm.
Jen Su will be extending her 5FM portfolio beyond the Hollywood Report to a new lifestyle feature on Sundays as part of Sunday Stuff with Sureshnie Rider.
5FM's Koula has also left the station to pursue other opportunities. According to her blog, Koula's World, she's excited about exploring new opportunities with other radio stations where she feels there is room for career growth.
