Senior appointment at Kaelo Worldwide Media

As Kaelo Worldwide Media expands its senior management team in line with its continued growth (KWM), Nqoba Koza has been appointed as head of operations of the sponsorship, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and broadcast production consultancy.

Koza joined the KWM team in March this year and is looking forward to the challenge of his new appointment. "My primary goal is to ensure that the way in which we execute and deliver our day-to-day services to our clients is aligned with the company's strategic objectives, as well as its brand values. The aim is to ensure that the company continuously delivers a standard of excellence that is expected by our clients," says Koza. "I am looking forward to my new role and I plan to bring professionalism, creativity and new ideas to the table."

Koza worked with Standard Bank for six years and has experience in retail banking at branch, regional and national level. In his role as business support manager at the bank, Nqoba was responsible for the implementation and execution of the sales value propositions nationally in the personal markets segment for retail banking.

"The management experience that Koza brings to the position will assist us in streamlining our processes and procedures while further implementing controls where necessary. This will increase our service delivery to clients who will be able to enjoy a more efficient and cost-effective way of doing business with us," says Kelvin Watt, MD of holding company SK Media Investments. "We look forward to reaping the benefits of the positive growth our company has achieved over the last year."

KWM's broadcast division has grown rapidly in the past three years, with reportedly the largest CSI multimedia platform in Africa - Kaelo - Stories of Hope currently in its fourth season. As a result, along with other achievements, the production division now also produces Let's Fix It on e.tv and a local version of Kaelo - Stories of Hope has been launched in India.
