Markex offers new Trade Show

Markex World of Events 2012, which takes place 12-14 June 2012 at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, has added a new component, the Trade Show, a separate, co-located show with its own dedicated entrance and registration area, which is accessible only to bona fide trade buyers and resellers.
Markex offers new Trade Show

"The introduction of a Trade Show is an evolution of the highly successful Trade Only section, which has been running for the last two years. This takes this concept a step further and clearly distinguishes the Trade Only exhibitors from those targeting all visitors. It gives wholesalers and resellers an opportunity to conduct business in a personalised setting and can only be accessed by registering with a pin code obtained from an exhibitor or the organisers," explains Markex exhibition manager, Fran Lurie.

This new development means that half of Hall 1 will become the dedicated hall, with its own 'exclusive check-in' registration area and restricted access to bona fide trade buyers.

Other attractions

The public side of Markex offers the Loerie Awards Travelling Exhibition; the USB Speakers Pavilion, which debuted in 2011; a platform for the Pendoring Awards and the Markex World of Events exhibition.

Last year the show attracted 262 exhibitors and close on 10 500 visitors from all sectors of business, creative agencies, PR companies, event organisers and resellers, with 91% indicating that they make or influence buying decisions.

"Staying on top of the marketing game in these fast-changing and demanding times takes focus, planning and access to the best tools the industry has to offer. This show is designed to provide this and more to players in this dynamic sector," says Gary Corin, MD of Specialised Exhibitions, owner of the Markex shows.
