For the past five years, Louw has played a key role in the group,as respectively the supplements editor of Weg, deputy editor of Weg!/go! , founding editor of WegSleep and editor of WegRy/Drive Out. Before that, he was a member of Die Burger's editorial team in the Western and Eastern Cape, as education reporter, provincial reporter, a member of the parliamentary editorial team, chief reporter and news editor.
