Red Rocket Design & Advertising, creative brand and design specialists, have been appointed by the Mugg & Bean franchise group, with 54 outlets nationwide, to look after the ongoing corporate branding and design requirements for the overall brand; the above and below the line advertising; all retail packaging; as well as special ad-hoc projects. The appointment came into effect in July 2004.
The Mugg & Bean concept, yet another illustrious South African brainchild, is a full-service, coffee-themed, quick-casual franchise restaurant chain that fills a need in this immediate and rapidly growing sector. Created by Ben Filmalter, one of South Africa's most prominent restaurateurs and founding member of the South African Restaurant Association, Mugg & Bean has been in operation since 1996.
