What are we looking for?

An exciting, full-time position is available at Orms Somerset West for a creative consultant. Our services include a wide range of professional printing services and custom picture framing. The creative consultant is responsible for assisting clients with various printing and framing requirements while providing professional advice and delivering exceptional customer service.

Summary of job description

You will work as part of a small sales team, requiring self-motivation and excellent communication and customer service skills. The role involves serving retail and trade clients from consultation through to the fulfilment of their framing and printing requirements. You will advise clients on printing and framing for various media, including fine art, photographic content, and physical objects. Additionally, you will assist with file setup and manage orders through production to client delivery.

Qualifications and experience

The successful candidate will gain in-depth technical knowledge across all aspects of the printing and framing process, including editing and setting up print files, mounting and displaying artworks, and conservation-level frame making.

A passion for art and a keen eye for detail are essential. Applicants must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and the Microsoft Office suite, as well as proficiency in using social media in a professional capacity.
