Job description

We have a range of social media and ads clients from dentists to authors. We need a team member that is creative and analytical - thinks with stats, conversions and at the same time creative posts! 

This is a remote position - so you need a fast computer and internet. Software to be provided. 

Responsibilities and duties:

• Content creation and management: develop and curate engaging content for social media and ads platforms. Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading content.
• Social media management: schedule and post content, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ad management: post ads and be able to monitor daily which are successful or not.
• Reporting: keep client reports and tracking of ads and ad spend.
• Graphic design skills: proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite — not Canva) to create visual content that enhances marketing efforts.

Essential requirements:

• A minimum of one year of experience working with marketing agencies, either in-house or within a marketing agency.
• Basic proficiency in graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) to create compelling visual content.
• Strong content creation and copywriting skills for various digital platforms.
• Understanding of Meta Ads platform and Google Ads Platform.
• A strategic mind for digital marketing. Attention to detail and pride in presenting quality work.
• Phenomenal grasp of the English language, especially written (misspellings are not acceptable).
• Fluent English speaker/writer with an excellent command of English.
• Able to take initiative, stay motivated, collaborate on digital channels, and manage multiple projects in a work-from-home environment.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Share weekly and monthly reports with clients, providing additional insights to client.

Other:

• Salary is market-related depending on your experience.
• This is a junior to mid level position. This is a remote/work from home position.
• Hours: 8.30am to 5pm, Mon-Friday.
• Own your own computer and a fast internet connection.
• Must live in South Africa (non-negotiable, please don’t apply if you don’t live in SA).
