Senior Account Manager (Integrated)
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Coastal agency's team, to be based in Johannesburg working remotely reporting to H.O. - working from the Johannesburg offices of their client.
Our client is a long-standing mid-sized creative solutions agency. with B2B clients across the 3 major metros. However, the position we are looking to fill will be based in Johannesburg.
With a balance of BTL, traditional ATL, and digital experience they are a group of seasoned creatives who apply their varied skillsets to strategically building brands and creating ‘work that works' - spanning TVCs to digital campaigns to in-store solutions.
They have adopted a hybrid working arrangement that recognises the need for connection but also deep time away from the business of the office, and are flexible depending on the type of work and dynamics of each week.
Everyone across the team gets stuck in so they always deliver what they promise, and have built lasting relationships through their can-do attitude. They manage the workflows with Deltek WorkBook so everything is well organised and tracked.
The role
You would be a key player in their client service team, primarily working a prestigious ICT business with a head office in Jhb and 60 franchises across the region. Having had the honour of refreshing their brand 3 years ago as the basis for our engagement with them, the agency are the key partner to their marketing team, and support their franchises’ needs, such as brand and communication collateral, as well as their internal communications and their brand campaigns. It is a busy but rewarding account and requires positive energy, good organisation skills and an eye for consistency in application of their brand. You will deal with their senior marketing director, brand managers, product managers and franchise owners.
Finally every good SAM should have an appetite for developing new business. With the support of the core senior team the agency is always looking for opportunities to present and open up new accounts.
Requirements- Minimum 6 years' working in a creative agency
- Tertiary qualification preferable
- English NSC Higher Grade pass
- Driving license and own car
Responsibilities- Managing client briefings and generating quality status reports
- Internal liaison with clients and agency teams
- Develop briefs and task work into the agency using the management system
- Coordinating with operations and production team to build quotes and develop timing plans
- Liaising with the traffic manager to progress work, manage deadlines and ensure timeous delivery of client requirements
- Forecasting, pre-billing, account administration and reporting requirements.
