The internal sales consultant at Media Host Group is a dynamic and proactive role focused on driving sales and building relationships with clients. This individual will play a key role in promoting our cutting-edge technology and services in media monitoring, analysis, and research across Sub-Saharan Africa. Collaborating with the sales team and other departments, the Internal Sales Consultant will actively contribute to our mission of revolutionizing digital content management and media analysis.

What will the internal sales consultant be doing?

• The internal sales consultant will play a pivotal role in expanding Media Host Groups’s reach and driving revenue growth.

Key job responsibilities:

• New business development: Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through lead generation, networking, and market research;
• Client relationship management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions;
• Sales presentations and proposals: Customise sales materials, proposals, tenders, and quotations for prospective and existing clients;
• Market and industry insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to position Media Host Group effectively;
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, research, and analysis teams to resolve client queries and deliver seamless solutions;
• Representation: Represent Media Host Group at Industry events, tender briefings, and client meetings, projecting professionalism and expertise;
• Performance tracking: Report on sales activities, client engagement, and market opportunities to the Sales Manager;

Educational / Skills / other requirements:

• Grade 12 or higher;
• Proven minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles, preferably in media, technology, or research industries;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Fluent in English with excellent grammar and spelling;
• Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute;
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Clear criminal record;
• Willingness to undergo relevant background checks;
• Ability to assist with all aspects of Media Host – PEAR, as needed.
