Job overview:
Our Client is seeking a creative and tech-savvy Social Media Assistant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, fashion, and branding, and will assist in executing social media strategies to enhance their online presence and engage with their audience effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Assist in creating engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
Develop graphics, videos, and written content that align with the company’s branding and marketing goals.
Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to generate new ideas and content.
Social media management:
Schedule and publish posts on social media channels using scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure content is posted at optimal times.
Analytics and reporting:
Track and analyse the performance of social media posts and campaigns.
Generate reports on key metrics (engagement, reach, followers, etc.) and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Community engagement:
Engage with the online community by liking, commenting, and sharing relevant content.
Assist in managing and growing the company’s social media communities.
Participate in online conversations to build brand awareness and loyalty.
Campaign support:
Support the execution of social media campaigns and promotions.
Coordinate with influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance campaign reach.
Assist in the development and implementation of social media contests and giveaways.
Research:
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience preferences.
Provide insights on new social media tools, platforms, and techniques.
Administrative tasks:
Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely updates.
Assist in organising and archiving digital assets (photos, videos, graphics).
Perform other duties as assigned by the social media manager or marketing team.
Skills and qualifications:
Education:
Diploma in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field would be beneficial
Experience:
Previous experience in social media management or a related role is preferred.
Technical skills:
Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
Understanding of social media metrics and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
Soft skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
High level of attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Additional information:
Working Hours: Full-time position, with occasional requirements for evening or weekend work depending on campaign schedules.
