Key responsibilities

• Content creation: Film, edit, and upload high-quality videos tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Platform management: Manage and grow social media accounts by creating engaging posts, stories, reels, and campaigns.
• Design skills: Design visually compelling graphics for posts, ads, and online store promotions.
• Social media advertising: Plan, execute, and optimise paid social media campaigns to drive traffic, conversions, and sales.
• Community building: Build and engage a strong online following through meaningful interactions with audiences.
• Sales growth: Collaborate with the team to increase online store sales through strategic marketing campaigns and product promotion.
• Analytics and reporting: Track, analyse, and report on social media performance to refine and optimise strategies.
• Travel: Be willing to travel for content creation and campaign execution in locations such as Ballito, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Pietermaritzburg.

What we’re looking for

• Experience: Proven track record in social media management, content creation, and paid advertising.
• Video skills: Proficiency in shooting and editing videos using tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Design skills: Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar software.
• Platform knowledge: Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn algorithms and trends.
• Sales-oriented: Experience in driving online sales through social media campaigns.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment with tight deadlines.
• Travel-ready: Willingness to travel for on-site content creation.
• Personal attributes: Highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
