Seeking a business unit director who will be responsible for the overall success and strategic direction of the entire business unit, contributing to the organisation's overall success and ensuring that the business unit meets its goals, aligns with the overall vision and mission of the organisation, and delivers value to the customers and stakeholders.

Duties and requirements:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the marketing and advertising industry.
• At least four years of experience in a leadership capacity.
• Enable excellent intercompany and interdepartmental communication and knowledge transfer.
• Develop annual and long term business plans for the business unit.
• Develop sales and marketing plan to drive new business to meet business unit goals.
• Oversee strategy as necessary to support business growth and customer retention.
• Lead and guide the business team in the pursuit of profitable new business and maintain clear focus and priorities in the product    team.
• Oversight and involvement in the cost estimation process to ensure cost accuracy and appropriate pricing of projects.
• Develop strong linkage with operations to ensure cost goals are met, client needs are prioritized, and quality measures are followed.
• A robust understanding of how marketing, creative, planning, media, technology and analytics integrate.
• Ensuring that the business unit meets its goals, aligns with the overall vision and mission of the organization, and delivers value to the customers and stakeholders.
• Performs other business leadership duties as required.
• Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
• Client lead and support on a large portfolio of clients
• Taking on a role in supporting new business initiatives and client relationships in the development of business growth.
• Be accountable for the unit's performance and also be instrumental in driving the business to its success.
