Financial Manager

Our client in Johannesburg is looking for a financial manager to join their team. 

Requirements:

• Proficient in financial management, with a strong understanding of OEM and SMH policies and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Working knowledge of DMS (Dealer Management Systems).
• Strong staff management and training skills.
• Ability to prepare statutory returns (VAT, FIC, etc.) accurately and on time.
• Experience in budget preparation and financial reporting.
• Capable of working with auditors and preparing for year-end financials.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and meet all targets and deadlines.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and daily cash flow analyses.
• Manage reconciliations and ensure efficient cash collection.
• Oversee staff training, salary processing, and leave management.
• Control asset records and manage stock-taking procedures.
• Submit all statutory returns accurately and on time.
• Prepare and present financial reports and ensure proper controls for commissions and floorplan settlement.
• Oversee BBBEE pack completion and compliance.
