Join one of our teams as an editor, responsible for writing and editing business-to-business and trade articles to enhance our publications' content and brand positioning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing industry-specific, newsworthy content that meets audience needs
• Overseeing editorial processes and managing the team to ensure high-quality output
• Ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets
• Developing and implementing strategic initiatives and promotional activities
• Managing, planning, and reporting on costs for freelancers
• Mentoring junior journalists and fostering their professional development
• Networking with industry contacts by attending relevant functions and events

Required:

• Proven experience managing news journalists and editing publications; B2B experience is essential
• Ability to find, write, and edit lead stories for a niche sector
• Tertiary qualification in communications or journalism
• Familiarity with production processes (subbing, proofing, layout)
• Strong writing skills and creative expression in both writing and design
• Willingness to travel as needed
• A valid passport, driver’s licence, and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory
