Restaurant Manager

• Four years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
• Retail experience will be an advantage
• Great command of the English language
• Driver's license and own transport
• Excellent people skills
• Passion for the hospitality industry
• Innovative and proactive 
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Food and beverage knowledge- Full menu knowledge. Manage and oversee a kitchen.
• Able to manage the ordering stock
• Knowledge of stock quality.
• POS knowledge, daily stock-takes and daily cash-up procedures.
• Staff-ability to motivate waiters/waitresses.
• Recognise the importance of customer satisfaction.
• Attention To detail and lead by example.
• Ability to handle guest complaints and build customer loyalty.
• Ability to perform the duties of any member of staff on the floor in the event of short staffing or unforeseen circumstances.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Complete weekly & monthly stocktakes
• Be honest, reliable, energetic and results driven.
• Must be a peoples person, with excellent guest communication skills.
