junior social media manager to join our dynamic PR + marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management and execution of our social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for social media, excellent communication skills, and a desire to grow within the field.

Working closely with our Social Media Manager, the following duties are expected to be fulfilled: - Proficiency and in-depth knowledge of major social media platforms and channels.
- Planning and curating engaging and exciting content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and TikTok.
- Ensuring all content, including text, reels, stories and videos are in line with the existing style and aesthetic of our clients.
- Maintaining a high response rate on direct messages, comments on social media posts and online inquiries
- Ensuring effective and accurate responses to target market inquiries on various online and social media platforms to ensure conversion into applications and/or enrolment
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance and suggest improvements based on data insights.
Additional info:- This is a CT-based role and the candidate would need to work at the Green Point/de Waterkant office four days per week (with one day remote provided on Fridays).
- Clients include B2B/C companies across industries like tech, education, and NGOs as well as executive LinkedIn profiles for global software brands.
- BE candidate preferred for this role.

Feeling inspired? We’re looking for: - 1-3 years of social media experience across business and consumer brands.
- Proficiency in using social media analytics tools and capable of translating insights into action.
- Track and analyse key social media metrics using native platform analytics.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience creating multi-format content (text, image, video)
- Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and formats.
