Operations Data Specialist

Job description

Requirements: 

• Relevant diploma, degree, or other tertiary qualification.


• Proven SQL experience is essential


• Knowledge and experience in one or more coding languages


• Strong experience with data visualization and storytelling, particularly using Power BI and the Microsoft suite


• Proven Salesforce experience


• Experience in building dashboards using visualization tools, specifically Power BI, and familiarity with Python (specifically Matplotlib) 


• Experience with Databricks is a significant advantage


• Previous experience with project management, project implementation, and project plan drafting is essential

Responsibilities: 

• Management of a team ensuring that performance management is in place and that KPI’s are managed


• Ensuring all projects in operations are prioritised and scoped


• Ensure that all auxiliary data systems (Skyvia, Survey Sparrow etc.) are secure and functioning


• Support the Mar-tech team in implementation of Marketing Cloud processes and journeys


• Ensure that all Power BI dashboards in the Ops Data scope are maintained and refreshed as agreed with by the relevant role players


• Create and review existing Standard Operating Procedures together with team and ensure execution thereof
