Junior Ad Traffic Assistant

Habari Media is looking for a highly motivated, eloquent and organised individual to assist with the day-to-day office operations of a dynamic publishing team.
Key performance areas:
- Assist production director and ad traffic controllers with all production related tasks
- Calling and liaising with relevant printers on a daily basis
- Communicate with clients telephonically
- Ensuring magazines are distributed as soon as copies are received from printers
- Getting all cover persons signed off
- Ensure black books are ready with all adverts placed in correct slot according to flat plan
- Preparing recons for ad traffic controllers on each publication issue after print
- Photocopying flat plans and making sure the correct sales manager and ad traffic controller has their copies
- Filing
- Collecting packages and taking packages up to reception on behalf of the production department
Personal skills
- Organised, deadline driven and effective time management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independentlyy and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptionally good telephonic skills
- Willing to learn and develop within the department
