After completing a post graduate copywriting diploma in 1996 from AAA, Donna-Rae was determined there would be a Loerie with her name on it someday. But a week as an intern in the strategy department at The Jupiter Drawing Room, and she was hooked on planning.
A 15 year strategic planning career followed at some of South Africa's largest advertising agencies where she was responsible for the communications strategies of many premier brands including; Sun International, Kellogg, Liberty Life, Reckitt Benckiser and Cadbury.
She gained further invaluable branding, marketing and business experience with Interbrand Sampson; at African Gem Mining as brand manager responsible for the launch of their luxury Tanzanite Foundation brand; and during 3 years running her own entrepreneurial venture, selected by Aurik for profiling in the 702 / FNB small business feature 2010.
Her qualifications include a BA from Wits University and a Masters in Business Administration from Bond University Australia.
When not in the office, she can usually be found barefoot in the kitchen, cooking up a storm and entertaining her extremely large circle of Greek family and friends.
