2020 Challenged us to re-evaluate, change and adapt.
What was, no longer is. How we live has changed.
Home is not just where we live but where we celebrate, relax, rejuvenate, learn, teach, work, workout and so much more. What we treasure are the experiences and memories we make with those in it.
Home evolved and we need to do the same. After 28 years, Homemakers Expo, SA’s premier home improvement and lifestyle show, makes way for Homemakers Fair, it is so much more than just an expo.
The 2021 Johannesburg Homemakers Fair expands with more interactive activities and exclusive in-show events to ensure it is fun, memorable and an event for the whole family. The impactful show will run over three days, from 26 – 28 March 2021.
The way we live in our homes has drastically changed in the last year. Recognising this, we will be introducing new categories to the show to ensure visitors are able to find everything they need to really live in, revamp and enjoy their homes.
3,2,1, Go!
Another exciting change for the 2021 Johannesburg Homemakers Fair is a change of venue to the world-renowned Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre.
The move takes Homemakers back to their roots, as our first expo was held here back in 1994. Since then, Kyalami has been completely revamped to world class standards, it is well-situated with easy access, loads of parking, state-of-the-art facilities and incredible views.
Pop-up Events and Activities
The structure of Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre allows for a wide range of activities across four levels. The spaces move seamlessly from indoor and undercover to outdoor and open-air areas, all with their own unique views of the city. The four-tier space will be used to host brand new breakaway and pop-up activities in dedicated zones that will appeal to each member of the household.
With renewed focus on what makes a home, different zones will include: Home Improvement; Home Services; Décor; Appliances, Outdoor; Landscaping; Food; Fun; Hobbies; How-To and DIY; Health; Fitness; Artisan and Handmade Products; Fashion and Beauty; Travel and Adventure and Kids Activities.
