To stand a chance of winning the South African event five-a-side teams need to compete in one of the remaining five qualifying tournaments being held in the run-up to this year’s Rand Show. Entry to the qualifiers costs R1,000 per five-a-side team with prize money of R5,000 up for grabs at each qualifier.
Billed as Africa’s largest amateur five-a-side football tournament Castle Africa 5s boasts the ultimate prize with the winners of the continental tournament walking away with an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia in the company of Samuel Eto.
Don’t miss your shot at the prize. There are four other mini tournaments taking place in Gauteng during the month of March. Get your friends together and create your own amateur five-a-side team, there are a few spots left.
