Getting down to business

BigNews for the Business Owner, the only independently owned and distributed newspaper for business owners in South Africa, publishes its 100th edition this July. BigNews is a monthly newspaper distributed nationally with an audited circulation of 135 080 (ABC Dec 2004). BigNews was started nearly nine years ago with almost no money and has grown from a small regional newspaper. It is run by five founder members, three of whom are black, who got together long before anyone mentioned BEE.
