FCB Paris ready to float away

FCB Paris wants to conquer new territories, beginning with space, when it sends its first creative up, with more than 36,000 balloons. After some scientific calculations, FCB Paris found it needed 36,895 balloons to send its lightest creative (Baptiste - 52 kg) into space.

The idea is simple. With each like on its Facebook page, the team will inflate a balloon and store it in the agency next to the Champs-Elysées, in preparation for launch-day three weeks after the campaign kick-off on Tuesday 10 March. Throughout the operation, anyone can follow the agency's adventures and the agency's astronaut's training for lift-off on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Vine).
