I want to take a look at the current state of radio in S.A... we now have DJ's! and not proffessional broadcasters a'nymore, some "Dj's" are on radio because they are celebrities, i mean lets take the appointment of katlego Danke at metro fm.... the woman is great on generations, but eho the hell lied to her and told her that she has what it takes to be o radio? that person must be shot! the mistakes she makes.........
Now my main problem is that there are so many dj's who dont know the artistry of being on radio even though some have been on radio for so long! some like i said are celebrities who were lied to that they've got talent! ofcourse there are some that dont have the formal training that have the talent and artistry, but we have those that dont cut it!
Content doesnt seem to matter anymore,i mean we look at chilli m's essential rush..... Really now...............what example is the guy setting talking about his penis and what he calls it?? and this ambience sh**?? f**ken hell!!! all he does is make noise on air, there isnt much content on his show and listener qualitty is not respected!!!!! aas for the beef he started with fresh??? i mean really vukani??
Then theres breakfast with Thomas............ all i have to say is Naked watch ur technical mistakes.......... and please get rid of that regina sh*t! Thomas its not appealing if youre trying o attract the middle to upper class market, and lupi?? the less said the better. and looking at drive time shows again Mr Dube of the Dube drive hang your mic while youre still respected, Unathi stop sounding like youre ass kissing to Glen youre a flippin great broadcaster use what you were taught at Yfm, Much respect to Higveld and 5fm for their brilliant drive time shows. Tholi B keep up the great work you're going places, Amon you rock, Bridget currently the only female who has the best show, Mo-flava keep rocking.
