AccountantOur client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join their team. Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant.
- Must have completed Articles, SAIPA, SAICA or CIMA.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Key responsibilities:- Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
- Coordinate with auditors and prepare supporting documentation for audits.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
