Diagnostic Technician
A motor vehicle dealership in Mpumalanga is looking for a
qualified diagnostic vehicle technician to join their service department.
Requirements:- Grade 12
- Trade Test Certificate (non-negotiable)
- Relevant Master training/qualification is advantageous
- Premium brand experience is preferable
- Valid SA Driver's License
- Clear criminal record
- Motivated and target-driven with a solid track record
- Proven experience as a diagnostic technician, preferably with luxury brands.
Responsibilities:- Service and repair all vehicles booked into the dealership
- Diagnose and report findings accurately
- Maintain and update diagnostic tools
- Request relevant and correct parts from parts sales executive
- Notify management of any service-related issues
- Check in customers and follow up with clients
- Update job cards with accurate and detailed information on service/repairs
- Plan and order parts required in advance as per vehicle identification
- Plan production efficiently
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
- Maintain good communication with head office and customers
- Follow up with customers after service
