- FAIS Credits (minimum 30 credits in short-term insurance if appointed before 2010); or a full recognized qualification as per FSCA qualification list if appointed on or after 01/01/2010
- FAIS Regulatory Examination for Representatives (RE5)
- 12 CPD (Continuous Professional Development) points
- Minimum of three years' experience in selling short-term insurance as a broker agent or tied agent
- All required regulatory exams and accreditation
- Proof of commission earnings for one year (minimum R10,000 per month)
- Own vehicle and a valid driver's license
Responsibilities: - Generate enough leads to secure at least 10 client quotes per week and 40 per month.
- Achieve a minimum of 8.5 written policies per month.
- Maintain and update the Lead Generation Matrix on a weekly basis.
- Contact clients to conduct proper needs analyses and offer professional advice once a quote is requested.
- Sign up a minimum of 5 active lead referral agents.
- Complete weekly reports detailing leads, quotes, sales, sources of leads, average premium, total premium, and other relevant information as required.
- Stay informed on product comparisons with competitors' products.
- Keep up to date with Momentum Insure product changes and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with all insurance regulations, professional guidelines, and ethics.
- Maintain appropriate skills and knowledge to provide specialist, professional advice in all relevant business areas.
- Adhere to the required dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
