General ManagerA beautiful lodge in Hoekwil, Wilderness is looking for a general manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Handle enquiries through email, phone and WhatsApp efficiently.
- Oversee and manage all bookings to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Schedule staff shifts, manage uniforms and arrange transportation.
- Handle the financial aspects including paying salaries, managing invoices, and collecting payments.
- Order necessary supplies and ensure proper provisioning.
- Ensure all staff perform their duties to the highest standards.
- Respond promptly to calls, messages and emails from guests, prospective guests, and agents.
- Ensure the honesty shop is well-stocked and maintained.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support lodge operations.
- Coordinate with guests for picnic arrangements, order food and ensure set-ups are perfect.
Requirements:- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Must have a licence and own transport
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Leadership skills with a focus on team management.
