Part time Junior Sales Project Manager

Remuneration:R150 - R170 per hour

Please note:
  • This role is for 80 hours a month (part-time).
  • You will need to go into the office 1 full day a week. The remainder of the time will be remote work.
  • The office is based in Town.

About the client:

Our client specialises in B2B sales, specifically sales training and optimisation in designing, managing, and maximizing ROI from in-person and online business development activities. Their services encompass conferences, associations, podcasts, meetups, virtual summits, live events, and other networking opportunities. 

They provide comprehensive solutions including ICP (ideal customer profile) development, brand positioning, B2B strategy, marketing and sales alignment, event strategy, account intelligence reporting, prospect engagement, project management, digital PR, case studies, and LinkedIn paid ad management. They aim to ensure higher quality B2B meetings, alignment of marketing activities with a clear strategy, and higher ROI from B2B marketing efforts.

The role has three primary responsibilities:
  • Researching and Identifying new prospects
  • Building authentic relationships with prospects
  • Manually nurturing prospects until they are ready to be passed onto sales

You will need to be extremely proactive in pursuing new opportunities and strategic in your thinking and approach. As the Junior Project Manager, you'll frequently liaise with the likes of Sales Directors, founders, and COOs, so commercial awareness and good business sense are essential. Tech savviness is a must, and being comfortable to experiment with new technology.  

When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:
  • Researching organisations and individuals online 
  • Identify and qualify potential clients by understanding their business needs and pain points
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and nurture them through the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute targeted outreach strategies
  • Utilise the CRM (Hubspot) and other sales tools (Linkedin Sales Navigator) to track and manage prospecting efforts and pipeline progress
  • Participate in sales meetings and provide insights and feedback on the effectiveness of sales strategies
  • Key Account Management
  • Creation of account dossiers for top 20 accounts
  • Event planning and executing
  • Reporting to the Project Manager and Growth Director


Requirements

  • Experience in account management, customer service,  sales development/market research, or outbound sales role
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a bonus
  • Proven track record of success in prospecting, lead generation, or building relationships/communities online
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience working with CRM and other sales tools, such as Salesforce, Hubspot, or Pipedrive
  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, marketing, or a related field
  • Comfortable with basic Excel
