Power BI Developer - SQL

Power BI Developer Responsible for understanding business requirements and translating them into assets that can be used by our stakeholders to make decisions. These assets can be cubes, reports or dashboards. Projects are to be managed efficiently so that assets are delivered accurately and timeously.
Responsibilities: - Interact with business analysts and systems architects to understand data sources.
- Interact with business to gather and understand requirements.
- Write code to be used in the reports and dashboards.
- Develop final asset (report, cube, dynamic/static dashboard) using Microsoft reporting tools.
- Perform unit testing.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues raised by our stakeholders.
- Mentor juniors in team
Personal attributes and skills- A minimum of five years’ experience as a Developer or a related field.
- Good exposure to T-SQL/PLSQL
- Good exposure to SSRS and Power BI reporting tools.
- Strong SQL query writing ability (across database environments e.g., Oracle, SQL Server etc)
- Strong report writing skills, preferably with Microsoft SSRS and Power BI.
