Job description

Hands-on shift management within a packaging manufacturing environment. Management of people and processes in a deadline driven department. Duties include production planning, maintenance, staff supervision, equipment management, material control, raw materials and consumables, quality, health and safety

Shift work involved. 

Requirements

• Matric/N3, plus related qualification 
• Min of three to five years' relevant experience gained managing a shift in the packaging/print manufacturing sectors - essential
• Solid track record in the management of materials and consumables
• Advanced MS Office
• Previous production management and staff supervisory experience gained in the packaging sector 
• Able to work shifts and overtime
