Who are we looking for: We are looking for a logistics and inventory manager to join our team and drive our success to new heights. This person will be responsible for leading opportunities to improve and align the supply chain network to be more responsive and agile to unknown variables, including demand forecast volatility and supplier constraints.
What will you do:- Manage the procurement process and the supply base efficiently and effectively
- Apply effective communication strategies to ensure supply chain alignment in other departments to coordinate inventory management activities
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor supplier performance
- Anticipate unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
- Establish key performance indicators and alerts to ensure optimal Inventory management operations
- Optimising logistics costs
- Leading exercises to identify key areas of opportunity
What do you need:- Diploma or degree in operations, supply chain, engineering or another relevant field
- Ten years' management experience in the fields of supply chain and logistics
- Liquor legislation
- Export legislation
- Financial management advantageous
