Part Sales ExecutiveMy client, at a well-established dealership, is looking for a parts sales executive with dealership experience to join them asap Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric) is a must.
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a similar role, preferably with luxury or European vehicles.
- Strong product knowledge.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in using dealership management software and basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Key responsibilities:- Promote and sell parts and accessories to customers, service advisors, and technicians.
- Provide expert advice on product selection and compatibility.
- Manage inventory, order parts, and handle non-stock items as needed.
- Process sales transactions and provide quotes.
- Build and maintain strong customer and internal relationships.
- Accurately locate, order, and issue parts per job card requirements.
- Receive and handle special part orders promptly.
- Minimize risks and uphold security measures.
- Stay updated on products and industry trends.
- Support showroom displays and marketing efforts.
- Attend departmental meetings as required
Skills:- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
- Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills with the ability to close deals.
- Ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
